VitroPlus
Showcase site, online booking and quote request, with a custom-drawn glazing configurator.
The client
VitroPlus is a family-run car glazing business founded in 2004 in Ohey, in the province of Namur. Windscreen repair and replacement for cars, trucks, agricultural and construction machinery, window tinting and bodywork cutting.
A member of the Autoglass Clinic network since 2015, the company now runs two centres, in Ohey and Wierde, and three mobile teams working at customers’ homes or workplaces.
The problem
Every request started with a call or an email. The customer had to describe the vehicle and the damage over the phone, the team re-keyed that information into its business software, then called back to book an appointment or send a quote.
The goal
Make it simple for the customer: let them enter all the details themselves, whenever they want, without picking up the phone.
For VitroPlus, receive requests that are already qualified, with everything the team needs to book an appointment or write a quote.
The solution
A showcase site presenting every service, and two guided four-step flows: booking an appointment and requesting a quote.
At the heart of both flows, a configurator built from scratch: a car reproduced in SVG, seen from above, on which the customer directly selects the damaged window or windows. For a windscreen, a few questions about the chip (how many, size compared with a €2 coin, distance from the edge) are enough for the site to diagnose by itself whether a repair is possible or a replacement is needed.
For cutting and fitting glass on vans, the configurator draws the vehicle from its length (L1 to L4), its height and its sliding doors, then lets the customer choose, window by window in a dedicated dialog, the tint and the type of glass, fixed or sliding.
The request then lands complete at VitroPlus: vehicle, damage, insurance, preferred date and place, with nothing to re-key.
- Business application
And since then, a second project
Digital transition support and a custom business application, used in the office and in the field.
The problem
Beyond the website, the company’s day-to-day ran on tools and habits that no longer kept up with its growth: two centres, three mobile teams, and information travelling between office and field with no shared system.
The goal
Support VitroPlus through its digital transition, step by step, and give the team a single tool designed for its trade.
The solution
A business application developed specifically for VitroPlus, used as much by the teams in the field as by the office. Development continues at the company’s pace.
